About

Freelance Webflow developer in the Philippines, 8+ years in web

A developer who'd rather hand you the keys.

I'm Drin (Edrin), a freelance developer from the Philippines working and developing websites mostly in Webflow, Astro or with Next.js for the projects that need something custom.

I started out writing code, then kept running into the same problem: clients waited weeks for changes a developer had to make for them. Webflow fixed that. It let me ship quickly and hand over a site the client could actually run themselves.

The habits from engineering stayed: naming things consistently, keeping structure clean, testing on real devices, documenting the handoff. That's the difference between a site that looks finished and one that's still workable a year later.

Experience

From 2019 to 2024 I was a Senior Webflow Developer at Yoonet. Since 2024 I have worked independently as drinmarl. In total I have served 10+ clients and agencies over 8+ years in web.

Working from the Philippines

I am based in Bataan, Philippines (UTC+8), the same time as Perth. Australia and the UK overlap with my working day, and for the US we can talk in your morning or evening.

How I work

01

Scope before pixels

We agree on pages, content, and dates first, so the price and timeline don't move halfway through.

02

Weekly, in writing

A short update every week with a live link. You always know what's done and what's next.

03

Handoff you can use

A walkthrough recording and a short guide, so editing the site doesn't depend on me being free.

Where and what I build with

Stack
01

Webflow

My main tool for client sites: custom layouts, CMS collections, interactions, and clean class structure, plus light custom code where Webflow stops.

02

Astro / Next.js

Astro for focused small-business sites and content-heavy builds where speed matters. Next.js for sites that need accounts, dashboards, or custom data models alongside the marketing pages. This portfolio runs on Astro.

03

Alongside

Figma, SEO setup, analytics, forms and automations, accessibility checks before launch.

My stacks

Tools I use daily

Webflow

One-platform development: design, CMS, hosting, and a visual editor your team can use after handoff.

Astro

Fast, content-focused sites that ship almost no JavaScript by default. My pick for marketing sites and portfolios.

Next.js

React framework for custom builds that need logins, dashboards, or server-side data beyond a marketing site.

Sanity

Headless CMS that gives editors a clean, purpose-built place to manage content for Astro and Next.js sites.

Claude Code

AI coding assistant in my terminal and editor. It speeds up builds, debugging, and refactors, with every change reviewed by me.

Pen.dev

Design canvas that sits next to my code, for sketching and iterating on layouts without leaving the editor.

Figma

Where designs, components, and tokens are defined before they are built, and where feedback is gathered.

n8n

Workflow automation for form handling, CRM and email syncing, and CMS updates, so repetitive site tasks run without anyone touching them.

Make.com

Visual automation for connecting your site to the tools you already use, such as forms, spreadsheets, Slack, and email.
